So a friend of mine introduced me to this about a week ago, and it is freaking GOLD. He's a British guy (and this only reinforces my view that Brits know comedy) living in Australia, and he "reviews" games. And, by that I mean he bashes the shit out of them, for the most part. You can find his videos here (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation), although I highly recommend seeing the Halo 3 video. It is the funniest, in my opinion, and when I watched it, I had to pause midway through because my sides were hurting and there were tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.

So, here is my one good act of the season, presenting you with this jewel-encrusted golden gift from the treasure vaults of Xerxes. Enjoy, because with the good points I earned from this, I can now devour a live baby and even myself out.

There are two more of his videos from before he was hired by the Escapist on YouTube.

The lulz have sort of dwindled in his latest reviews, but that doesn't mean they aren't entertaining.

I've watched the Medal of Honor one before and loffled. TIme to check out the rest.

I suppose, but I still laughed heartily at the Jericho review, especially since my friend had been looking forward to the game, but he gave up on it because it had gotten boring, and he hated the characters.

Ref. Portal: "This is the most fun you'll have with your PC until they invent a force-feedback codpiece"

The above quote is the reason I've loved that guy since the get-go. He's always been probably the funniest reviewer out there, and he's *usually* dead-on.

I just love the guy's reviews. They hold no punches, and often sum up exactly how I feel about games. His SSBB review really hit the mark for me.

I tried some possibilities ( etc.) but with no success.

Ah, Zero Punctuation. Yes, I have seen his reviews before (actually I was just introduced to them yesterday). And I don't really laugh at all while I'm watching them, but they are very entertaining. And I have finally found someone who shares my views on games (and turns it into a fun to watch review that I can stream on my computer). Anyone who says that he simply bashes the games is completely and utterly fasle. If you watch the video and think back on what he said you will see that practically all of it is true. Anyways, I agree with Kaika, GOLD would be a good word to explain these Gaming Review Videos (I like them much better than X-Play or any of those other shows).

"So if in the furture we all find ourselves playing Captain Bland's Monotonous Adventure in what moments we can spare between toiling in the microsoft overmines off-world mining complex, then I want you to know that I fucking called it." Absolutely priceless. That just made my day and I thank you kindly Kaika.

Also check out Unskippable. It's a less intensive weekly 5min sketch, but voiceovers on the cinematic game cut scenes (we've all done it) are instantly quotable and hilarious. There's even a crossover where Yahtzee from ZP goes over to join the boys on one episode, and another where one of the Unskippable guys hijacks a ZP show. That was actually the first one I watched.

I wasn't really into Unskippable when I tried it out after seeing everything Yahtzee has done with ZP. The Tom Clancey's H.A.W.Ks review is freaking hilarious.

Ah, Zero Punctuation. I loved his review of Resident Evil...uh...which one was it again, heh. I forget, all I know is that before I saw that review I wanted that game and then...I think I'll go with that other game instead, XD.
