Akamichi Clan Taijutsu: Okibo Ken - Massive Fist

Style Description: The signature style of the Akamichi Clan, utilising their immense chakra reserves and physical stamina in tandem with their body manipulation to create a devastating display of sheer power that has, rightfully, earned them their reputation as one of Konoha's oldest and fiercest guardians.

The style can be broken down into two main parts.

Mass - Using their Body Mass Control Techniques, the Akamichi can vastly increase both the size and weight of various body parts, and potentially their entire body, to hit with unprecedented force. As one would imagine, this makes up the bulk, no pun intended, of their offensive abilities

Elasticity - An often overlooked aspect of the Clan's physical ability, it is this which allows them to grow to such enormous sizes without tearing themselves to pieces, and to return to their original size after so smoothly. Cunning Akamichi have also learned to utilise the 'snap back' when returning a limb to its original size to inflict extra damage as a combo in quick succession with their main strike.

Style Basis: Ninjutsu

Stage One

Stat Requirements: Reserves = 5, Power = 3
Stage Bonuses: +3 Strength

Regular Techniques

Mass - The Akamichi can double the size and mass of any body part. This allows them to strike with extra force that can knock an opponent back if caught unawares.

Elasticity - At this stage there is not much offensive use for this particular aspect of the Clan's techniques. Mostly used to simply get back to their normal size quickly after unleashing an attack, some people do notice young Akamichi do have a certain spring to their step that helps them get around despite their stature. [Akin to the Glass skating/Zero Grip, etc Stage 1 manoeuvrability techniques]

Special Techniques

Fat Defense I - Though not coming as naturally as their offensive abilities, the Akamichi are also capable of using the Body Mass Control Technique defensively, increasing the mass in the target area to lessen the impact of an oncoming strike. At this stage the Akamichi can only protect against mundane thrown weapons.
Stage 2: Protects against Stage One Ninjutsu, and attacks with base Strength of 5
Stage 3: Protects against Stage Two Ninjutsu, and attacks with base Strength of 10
Stage 4: Protects against Stage Three Ninjutsu, and attacks with base Strength of 15
Stage 5: Protects against Stage Four Ninjutsu, and attacks with base Strength of 20

Improved Metabolism - While the ability to have a fast metabolism isn't anything new to an Akimichi it is this technique that allows them to truly harness its abilities. A rather paradoxical ability for the Akimichi to quickly digest and burn fat in order to regain stamina and while this jutsu can be activated it is known to be with all Akimichi in some way or another, but only a few truly learn to use it to their advantage. This jutsu if taken can be used to quickly digest food or fat in order to gain an extra jutsu in a stage lower than they know.

Stage Two

Stat Requirements: Reserves = 8, Power = 6, Stamina = 6
Stage Bonuses: +3 Strength

Regular Techniques

Mass - The Akamichi can double the size and triple the mass of any body part. This allows them to strike with extra force that can knock an opponent back several feet if caught by the blow. This strike can also break through stage 1 defenses, and equivalent natural materials.

Elasticity - The Elasticity finally becomes useful in combat at this stage. By focusing on this aspect of their bodily control the Akamichi can use the force of the 'snap back' to strike with a blow equivalent to Stage One Mass. This is particularly useful at extreme close range, or in enclosed spaces, or for chaining attacks together faster. They can also add an extra foot to their natural leap, and safe fall distance.

Special Techniques

Multi Size Technique I - Must be taken sequentially.
What everyone thinks of when they imagine the Akamichi in Combat. Giants, multiplying their entire body size to tower above their foes and leave devastation in their wake. At this stage however, the Akamichi can only add approximately a foot to their entire size, with an equivalent increase in mass - used mostly for intimidation purposes and a mild increase in destructive power.
Note: The Multi Size and Mega Size Techniques do not increase the damage of an Akamichi's blows, but the Area of Effect. For example: If an Akamichi can punch a fist sized hole through a certain level of defense using regular techniques, an Akamichi with high level of Multi-Size can punch a much bigger hole through said defense, but would not to be able to suddenly punch through a stronger defensive barrier.

Iron Hair - The Akamichi can not just reinforce living cells with extra mass, but dead cells as well, such as those found in hair and nails. By doing so they can give their hair and nails the strength of wood or bone.
Stage 3: Hair and Nails can be given the strength of Stone
Stage 4: Hair and Nails can be given the strength of Metal

Stage Three

Stat Requirements: Reserves = 12, Power = 8, Stamina = 8
Stage Bonuses: +3 Strength

Regular Techniques

Mass - The Akamichi can triple the size and mass of any body part. This allows them to strike with extra force that can knock an opponent completely off of their feet if caught by the blow. This strike can also break through stage 2 defenses, and equivalent natural materials.

Elasticity - By focusing on this aspect of their bodily control the Akamichi can use the force of the 'snap back' to strike with a blow equivalent to Stage Two Mass. They can also add two extra feet to their natural leap, and safe fall distance.

Special Techniques
Note: Genin must consume a green pill to be able to use Stage 3 Specials

Multi Size Technique II - Must be taken sequentially.
At this stage the Akamichi can add approximately half again to their entire size with an equivalent increase in mass.
Note: The Multi Size and Mega Size Techniques do not increase the damage of an Akamichi's blows, but the Area of Effect. For example: If an Akamichi can punch a fist sized hole through a certain level of defense using regular techniques, an Akamichi with high level of Multi-Size can punch a much bigger hole through said defense, but would not to be able to suddenly punch through a stronger defensive barrier.


Stage Four

Stat Requirements: Reserves = 17, Power = 14, Control = 12, Stamina = 14
Stage Bonuses: +3 Strength

Regular Techniques

Mass - The Akamichi can triple the size and quadruple the mass of any body part. This allows them to strike with extra force that can briefly knock out an opponent (Single Post) if caught by the blow. This strike can also break through stage 3 defenses, and equivalent natural materials.

Elasticity - By focusing on this aspect of their bodily control the Akamichi can use the force of the 'snap back' to strike with a blow equivalent to Stage Three Mass. They can also add three extra feet to their natural leap, and safe fall distance.

Special Techniques
Note: Genin must consume a green pill to be able to use Stage 4 Specials

Meat Bullet Tank - Using their control of size and density, the Akamichi swells up into a ball, multiplying their body size and density in the process by the equivalent of their highest stage in the list. By spinning rapidly they are able to move around at Two Levels Higher than their usual speed for up to two posts. However, they suffer from burning up too much of their chakra afterward, and can only move at Two Levels Lower than their usual speed, for the same number of posts they were in Tank form. Simply ramming into people while in this form, is considered as damaging as their current regular technique.

Stage Five

Stat Requirements: Reserves = 22, Power = 18, Control = 16, Stamina = 16
Stage Bonuses: +3 Strength

Regular Techniques

Mass - The Akamichi can quadruple the size and mass of any body part. This allows them to strike with extra force that can completely knock out an opponent (Rest of Thread - Opponent permission required) if caught by the blow. This strike can also break through stage 4 defenses, and equivalent natural materials.

Elasticity - By focusing on this aspect of their bodily control the Akamichi can use the force of the 'snap back' to strike with a blow equivalent to Stage Four Mass. They can also add four extra feet to their natural leap, and safe fall distance.

Special Techniques
Note: Chuunin must consume a green pill to be able to use Stage 5 Specials

Multi Size Technique IV - Must be taken sequentially.
At this stage the Akamichi can approximately triple their entire size with an equivalent increase in mass.
Note: The Multi Size and Mega Size Techniques do not increase the damage of an Akamichi's blows, but the Area of Effect. For example: If an Akamichi can punch a fist sized hole through a certain level of defense using regular techniques, an Akamichi with high level of Multi-Size can punch a much bigger hole through said defense, but would not to be able to suddenly punch through a stronger defensive barrier.

Yellow Pill / Butterfly Mode I - A rare feat even amongst the akamichi themselves, due to the danger it puts the user under. Consuming the Yellow Pill almost instantly burns up the majority of the Akamichi's fat and converts it into a visible aura of chakra, the explosive shape of which has often been likened to a butterfly's wings. While in this mode, every attack the Akamichi uses, Regular and Special, doubles its area of impact thanks to the volatile aura now surrounding the Shinobi. This comes at a cost however, and every post it is active the user loses a stage in Stamina for the remainder of the thread. Should they use it too long, and reach Zero, they will sadly have sacrificed their life. Even if the Akamichi stops the technique early, they can no longer use any other Akamichi Jutsu for the remainder of the thread, having burned up too much of their stored fat.

Stage Six

Stat Requirements: Reserves= 30, Power = 25. Control = 20, Stamina = 18, Strength = 18
Stage Bonuses: +3 Strength

Regular Techniques

Mass - The Akamichi can quadruple the size and quintuple the mass of any body part. This allows them to strike with extra force that can kill an unsuspecting opponent if caught by the blow. This strike can also break through stage 5 defenses, and equivalent natural materials

Elasticity - By focusing on this aspect of their bodily control the Akamichi can use the force of the 'snap back' to strike with a blow equivalent to Stage Five Mass. They can also add five extra feet to their natural leap, and safe fall distance.

Special Techniques

Stat Requirements: Reserves = 35, Power = 32, Control = 32, Stamina = 22, Strength = 22
Stage Bonuses: +3 Strength

Regular Techniques

Mass - The pinacle of the clans ability, Akamichi at this stage are said to be able to go punch-for-punch with even users of the Precision Fist. The Akamichi can quintuple the size and mass of any body part. This allows them to strike with extra force that can kill multiple opponents if caught by the massive blow. This strike can also break through stage 6 defenses, and equivalent natural materials

Elasticity - By focusing on this aspect of their bodily control the Akamichi can use the force of the 'snap back' to strike with a blow equivalent to Stage Six Mass. They can also add six extra feet to their natural leap, and safe fall distance.

Special Techniques
Note: Jounin must consume a green pill to be able to use Stage 7 Specials

Multi Size Technique VI / Mega Size Technique II - Must be taken sequentially.
At this stage the Akamichi can approximately quintuple their entire size with an equivalent increase in mass.
Note: The Multi Size and Mega Size Techniques do not increase the damage of an Akamichi's blows, but the Area of Effect. For example: If an Akamichi can punch a fist sized hole through a certain level of defense using regular techniques, an Akamichi with high level of Multi-Size can punch a much bigger hole through said defense, but would not to be able to suddenly punch through a stronger defensive barrier.

Fat Defense III - Must be taken sequentially.
Identical in function to its previous counterparts, but now boosted with the power of the Green Pill, this stage allows the Akamichi to protect against stage 6 Ninjutsu and attacks with a base Strength of 30

Red Pill / Butterfly Mode II - Must be taken sequentially
Consuming the Red Pill almost instantly burns up the majority of the Akamichi's fat and any other tissue it can find to digest and converts it into a visible aura of chakra, the explosive shape of which has often been likened to a butterfly's wings. While in this mode, every attack the Akamichi uses, Regular and Special, triples its area of impact thanks to the volatile aura now surrounding the Shinobi. This comes at a cost however, and every post it is active the user loses two stages in Stamina for the remainder of the thread. Should they use it too long, and reach Zero, they will sadly have sacrificed their life. Even if the Akamichi stops the technique early, they can no longer use any other Akamichi Jutsu for the remainder of the thread, having burned up too much of their stored fat. Knowing this Jutsu reduces the penalty for overuse of Yellow Pill, to unconsciousness as opposed to death.
