While the spider was able to dodge one of the spears, another slashed deep into abdomen, while the last lodged itself into one of its side legs. The creature let out a disgusting cry.

It seemed to rear up in pain, but then immediately came back with a roar of anger, green globules of muck flinging out from its mouth as it distended and twisted. Immediately the world around the creature seemed to glow with confusing and loud colors.

It pulled its sharp pedipalps forward and charged in swinging, willing to slice up anyone and everyone in front of it, slashes going through part of the webbing on the walls, ripping at the clone and at Sero himself. It charged forward clumsily, the damage to its leg causing a real difference.

The feeling of success coupled with the agonizing pain and screams of the monster made Sero feel like he would be able to make it out of the situation much better then his teammates. Then as if nothing else mattered a roar erupted through the area and in that moment Sero could not seem to concentrate. Everything from the dull colors of the wood and web became vibrant to the sounds of the beast thundered within his head. Unable to see anything in front of him Sero figured the only thing the monster would do is run or attack.

Sero knew something had to be done and with that he summoned up a large amount of chakra and large globes of snow began to form around him. Unable to see was a problem but the fact they were in a corridor helped to his decision to use such a technique. The barrage of snowballs flung towards the area the spider had been in when Sero last saw it, then all around the area. The amount of snow balls was tremendous and upon hitting anything, they would freeze. Sero could only hope that a few would stop the beast in its tracks.

The barrage of snowballs struck the large monster, screams of agony left it as the balls froze on impact, froze along the walls and floor. It didn't stop it from moving, but it was clear the creature was infuriated by the strange attacks.

Further down the tunnel, there was another creature. It was large, almost cat sized, but clearly still a spider. At the distance it was at, it wasn't more than a blob of shadow. When it saw Sero continue to fight against the monster, it seemed to dig into the wall of webbing, and go into hiding.

The monster spider, despite being weakened, was not willing to give up. The breathing of the creature was slower, but there. It lumbered forward, breaking through the wall of frozen ice balls, and bringing both of its large claws up to bring them down on what it was sure was now the real Sero.

The screams of the monster echoed through the hallway of the dense and now highly populated hallway. The feeling that the constricting webs were wrapping around Sero was all in his head, however, it didn't make it any less real. Sero was scared for his life at this point and although the screams ushered in the idea that he had landed a blow, the continuing barrage of over stimulation proved that the monster was still alive. The sound of the shattering ice also proved to Sero that he was drawing closer and closer. The beast was about the size of Sero and it proved to be a helpful tip off to Sero as a shadow lumbered into his view. The monster's mandibles dug into the arms of Sero as he blocked the blow. The pain was unbearable but Sero knew he had to finish the job. He had him right where he needed him. Pushing off of the monster Sero jumped and while jumping clapped his hand. Around him three spears frozen in mid air and propelled to where the monster was hopefully still standing.

Sero wouldn't be able to take a hit like that without some real damage, however, he hoped that this would put the beast down.

OOC: Sorry for the delay. Night shifts make it impossible for me to get anything else done

In all the chaos of the tunnel, it was almost impossible to see what Sero's ice spears were doing. The blows went out, and then the screams from the monster went to a higher pitch, there was thrashing against the walls of the cave, and the normal-like spiders within the webbing of the walls all came out at once spread all around, webbing falling toward Sero from the ceiling, the screams echoed in the halls.

When the sensory overload faded, the spider creature was there, its body pierced through the chest and head by his ice spears. All over its body were the smaller spiders, hundreds of them if not more, at work on the body. What they were doing was impossible to tell, but the creature was still and lifeless. It seemed like the body was shrinking, like they were devouring it.

The only noise in the tunnel now was the sound of their work, and a voice. The voice was far away, further into the depths of the dungeon he had entered. It wasn't the screaming of his former compatriot, or the cries of a child. It was someone having what seemed like a casual conversation, but too far away for Sero to make out.

He was left with the choice of leaving then, or going forward.

Sight began to normalize for Sero as a picture was fully painted I front of him. To Sero it was a victory, to the beast it was his grave. Sero was now quite worried about his health and the piercing attack from the mandibles of the monster were still pulsating.

To Sero, there was no turning back, he would have to push forward to survive. Besides, the blind man might still be alive and it was only logical that two or more people can survive compared to a lone adventurer.

Taking one more look at the pulsating body of the beast being devoured by its kin, Sero rushes forward. Heading towards the faint sound of the words echoing through the halls. His only hope was to get an ally.

As Sero moved deeper in, and dampened the sound he was giving off, the sound from the conversation became more audible. The voice was small, almost like a child talking. But the tone of the conversation wasn't childlike at all.

"He knows quite a few techniques, ones I haven't seen before, too. It will make it difficult to keep him in one place, but that doesn't mean that we have a choice. She demands we bring him in. The last one is proving... unworthy."

The web took on a tunnel like shape, and the voice was coming from the left side of it. Up ahead a little light was coming into the tunnel, there were breaks in the webbing, like barred windows looking into a room like area along the left. But the light was still dim, and from a distance there was nothing to see.

"We need to move, we cannot fail."

At the far end, the tunnel faded off into darkness. But there was a chittering, loud and violent. It sounded like another monster, not unlike the creature Sero already slayed, maybe larger.

The sound of the conversation seemed to be getting louder and closer as Sero continued down the hallway. Though, he could not hear the exact words that were being said, he knew that it was probably a good idea to be as quiet as possible. He had seen so man y different things in this place already that there was nothing that would surprise him.

Then suddenly the whispers of the conversation were overlayed by the screeching of something farther down the dark corridor. However, this scream seemed closer to Sero. Learning from his mistakes, Sero would not take anything for granted. As he continued to run he drilled through a large amount of hand signs before spherical ice balls over floated above his head. Anything that didn't look like a human would be attacked on sight. He just hoped he would see them first.

The tunnel kept going forward, and the strange animal-like screams continued. Whatever was happening, he was going to be coming close to it soon enough, and it was a good thing he was prepared.

As he reached a truly dark area, the cave just stopped. By the point that he could turn around, the way was covered with even more webbing. He was boxed in, with nowhere to go.

There was a brief point where nothing happened, and there was nothing to do but wait, but then a side door opened up to a bit of forest. It was open dirt again, reminding him that he was actually on a path, and not long ago had been working with mercenaries.

There in the bit of forest, there was a table. It was crudely made of wood twisted up in hardened silk, but it was clearly a table.

On top of the table was a spider, massive for any normal spider, about the size of a cat or small dog. It was mostly black and white, with some brown thrown in.

"Hello shinobi," The spider said, "We should talk. Come, sit."

There wasn't a chair. But then again, spiders didn't really use chairs.

At that point Sero was thoroughly confused with his situation. The tunnel he was once walking down seemed to end in a sort of den like area. The feeling of being watched continued to emanate from all over and he didn’t let his guard down in the least. As Sero looked closer within his surroundings he couldn’t help to realize that he was now trapped. Within the webs of the spider beasts he was looking to be the next dinner. However, his fear turned into curiosity as a wall began to shift. The spider webs slowing breaking apart to reveal a scene of surrealism.

Within the woods that had opened were a table, not a wooden but web like table that made Sero confused and curious. Above said table was a beast and though Sero promised himself to attack anything that wasn’t human; it was the words that came out of the monster that stopped his attack.

Entering the arena carefully, Sero looked for any traps and as he grew closer to the table and talking spider he gave himself enough room to prepare for anything that might happen.

”I will not be sitting, I prefer to stand. What are you anyways?” Sero demanded as the looming ice balls hung overhead.
