Default Hidden Sound Summon Contracts

Bat Summoning List
Bats, unlike most known summons, are not part of one big happy family. Each stands, survives and fights on its own, and while they are aware of one another, there is little to no interaction between them. Each has its own reasons for helping the human Shinobi in their battles and each has its own special interests. Moreover, the bats communicate (if any) in languages that are above the understanding of a "mere" human, and as such they prefer summon ers calling them after phases of the night rather than give out their true names.

Stage 1: Koumori no Koukon (Twilight Bat)
- Requirements: 3 Intelligence, 2 Reserves
- Type: Genjutsu
The youngest and smallest of all bats, Koumori no Koukon is a normal sized bat with wings jet black and a fur that is a clash of red and brown. Its beady eyes and pig-like snout give him the look of a simpleton, but he is quite the contrary. Although small in the scale of many summoned animals, this bat is perhaps the best scout to be found in the shinobi world, as it has the ability to see in the darkest of places (using his natural sonar ability).

Lacking the ability to speak in human tongues, Koukon instead communicates in a series of squeals and wing flaps which only those who signed the bat summoning contract are able understand.

Stage 2: Koumori no Yuuyami (Dusk bat)
- Requirements: 6 Intelligence, 6 Tactics, 4 Control
- Type: Genjutsu

The Yuuyami bat, at first glance, may look to be simply a laeger version of Koukon, having the same black wings and red/brown fur. However, there are two main differences between these cousins. The first is the obvious fact that Yuuyami's size is double that of Koukon, with a wing span of over 4 feet and approximately 2' 8" from head to toe. The second is the fact that this summon is not aerial at all; instead, it crawls on the ground using the claws located at the tip of its wings as hands.

Yuuyami is an expert of traps, and given the right instruments can prepare any deception or ruse that can lure the enemy into very dangerous positions. It is a cunning creature, able to speak most human tongues and is always looking out for its own best interests, rarely doing anything for it summoners unless first offered something in return. However, once bought, this bat is a useful ally and its tactical advices are better adhered.

Stage 3: Koumori no Yuuyake (Sunset bat)
- Requirements: 9 Intelligence, 9 Tactics, 7 Control
- Type: Genjutsu

Yuuyake is the first of the vampire bats; instead of fruits or insects like his brethren, this "flying rodent" feeds on blood. Human, animal, it doesn't matter. As long as it's red and warm Yuuyake is satisfied. There are stories of summoners offering this bat their own blood as means to appease it, for it will refuse to fight on an empty stomach. However, when doing so a ninja must use extreme caution, for the treacherous Yuuyake is known to keep on sucking its summoner's blood until there is no more.

Yuuyake carries a wing span of over 7 feet and a body reaching the size of 4 and has light grey wings and blood red fur. He is also able to speak in human tongues. Its appearance is ugly in human terms, though this creature takes no heed to that. It is apathetic to pain or suffering of any creature but itself, and would stop at nothing when in battle, more for the blood a prevailed opponent may offer rather than for the sake of its summoner.

Stage 4: Koumori no Hiru (High Noon Bat)
- Requirements: 14 Intelligence, 13 Tactics, 11 Willpower, 10 Power
- Type: Genjutsu

The Koumori no Hiru is an oddity among bats. Even thought it is a vampire bat it refuses to drink blood of any sorts. Because of this Hiru is almost constantly nervous and on edge, acting like an addict without their drug. Another oddity, this one even stranger, is the fact that Hiru is afraid of the dark. So afraid, in fact, that it will refuse to fight at night or in any place where there are no lights.

An albino by birth and always sickly looking, Hiru's fur and wings are completely white while the skin on its face is grey and wrinkled. Smaller than Yuukoku, this bat's wings span to a length of 5' 10", though its body is much larger, about 4'6". Also quite unlike his fellow night flyers, Hiru is kinder and more generous, and although like all bats it is needed to be "bought off" in order to retain his services, there is no fear of it turning on its master, as he is relatively much more loyal.

Stage 5: Koumori no Hanshou (Midnight bat)
- Requirements: 18 Intelligence, 17 Tactics, 17 Willpower, 14 Power
- Type: Genjutsu

The Koumori no Hanshou carries one distinct characteristic which separates it from any of its brethren- it has no wings. Instead, this dark warrior moves about on the ground on its two hind legs, reaching 7 and a half feet in height. Despite this fact, Hanshou is perhaps one of the deadliest assassins the bat contract has to offer, if not the stealthiest. Its fur completely black, it adorns attire of the same color, with armor plates all over his appendages, abdomen and torso, a black cloak and two swords constructed of unknown metal which are also utterly black from hilt to blade's tip. Like its smaller cousin, the Koukon, Hanshou is able to see even in complete darkness due to his highly developed natural sonar. It is said that once Hanshou is ordered to assassinate a person, the last thing this person will ever is are two eyes, glowing red and seemingly hovering in mid-air.

Hanshou despises his winged comrades for their innate ability to fly, and for that he has lived his life bitter and disgruntled. He adores violence and retains no moral inhibitions. Anything and anyone, in the eyes of the assassin bat, is a viable target.

Stage 6: Koumori no Yuukoku (Evening Bat)

- Requirements: 23 Intelligence, 23 Tactics, 20 Willpower, 16 Power, 15 Reserves
- Type: Genjutsu

This bat is the first to appear completely humanoid. With legs completely detached from his wings and fully functional arms rather than simple digits at the tips of the wings, this summon looks to be almost completely human except for the wings, skin color, and its face. In fact, this light grey being is hideous in human terms; elongated ears, pig-like snout, beady eyes the color of pearls and a gaping mouth full of sharp teeth make this creature look like a walking nightmare. At full height, it stands at 6'10", its wingspan double that. Being completely blind by birth, Yuukoku uses its natural sonar skills along with chakra in order to move around and also fight.

The Evening Bat is an extraordinary tactician, with an IQ level well above that of average humans. It feels that anything but itself and its true love, the Queen of the Night, is inferior by far. Disrespectful at best, any summoner of this bat must offer an item valued enough in the eyes of the Yuukoku that it will agree to take orders from its so-called "master". However, that does not mean it will disobey any order; if attacked, it will most definitely work in unison with any ally to dispose of that insolent attacker.

Long ago, back when the Sound country had the full support of its hidden shinobi village, many small towns prospered as the war economy created jobs and demands for supplies such as food and weapons. One such town was called "Fukitsu", and it was perhaps the most prosperous of all. Only a few years after the establishment of the Sound village as a force to be reckoned with by Hakachi Kairi, a large vein of iron was found only a few miles away from Fukitsu; the town's businessmen quickly exploited this highly valued resource and constructed a mine. The mine was rich with iron, and the businessmen and others of the town leaders became rich beyond their wildest dreams. Then, disaster struck.

No one's really sure what has happened, but when both iron carts and communications ceased to come from Fukitsu, the Sound village had sent out a team to investigate upon the matter. Only one member of the team ever returned to the village. He killed himself soon after, not before gauging his own eyes out, trying to make the nightmares go away.

Naturally, the Otokage Kairi was most interested in whatever had occurred to the men he sent to the mine, and decided to check up on the matter himself. Upon reaching the lowest floor of the mine, Kairi began hearing sounds… voices of the past, horrible things that haunted the powerful man for years. But the Otokage wasn't just any one man; he was Hakachi Kairi, and would not fall so easily. One stroke of Kai, and the voices disappeared. Instead, before him revealed itself a strange creature- a humanoid bat, standing 7ft tall with a wingspan about 6ft, its black and white fur soft and silky. The Queen of the Night, as Kairi named it, struck a deal with him. Indeed, the creature was bound to a pact older than any shinobi village; the Queen gave the Otokage that which it has vowed to protect, the Bat Summoning Contract.

All it asked, in return, was nothing but a batch of fresh victims every full moon… to enjoy and feast upon their blood. It is unknown what occurred of the creature ever since the demise of Sound, but rest assured it is very, very hungry.

Hyena Summons
Summon Type: Taijutsu



Stage One
Kuchiyose no Eimin
Requirements: Speed 3, Control 2

Eimin is the smallest of the Hyena summons, and is one of two males in the entire summoned family. As a male Hyena, and the baby of the family, he has no social standing. A pale blue with solid black spotting, Eimin wears a bracelet of gold on his right front paw. He may be extremely chatty and social, but Eimin is a hard-worker and fierce in his own ways. He shrinks from danger, but what may look like cowardice is just his baby sense of tactics. Slightly larger than a basketball, he may be compact, but he is an excellent summon for his status. Interesting to note, the small creature seems to have a natural affinity with those who train with the Echoes of Silence. His laugh is a mere tinkle.

Gishi is the larger of the two male summons, but even the sheep-sized hyena has his flaws. Two bracelets dangle from his paw, one gold and one white. The orange and black furred creature is rough in combat, but blindly inappropriate at times, often making unsavory comments about death. He's not morbid in any sense, just insensitive. He finds it funny, which leads him to often burst into fits of laughter, encompassing a high-pitched shriek, which continues long after it's ended. Out of all the summoned creatures, he looks the most like a bobcat, a fact he is very sensitive about.

Kuchiyose no Hidoi

Hidoi is a stallion in size, and a planet in spirit. The rather large, stocky hyena is a mottled sienna, with sparkling claws that seem to glisten unnaturally. On her right paw, three bracelets dangle precariously, one brown, one white, and one black. Though she is not confident of her strengths, she is confident that she can always help a situation with her presence. If things go wrong, she usually laughed, waiting for the time to fix it all. If she makes a mistake, or gets hurt, she laughs. In most situations, she begins to explain the strength of the hyena family, but stops, realizing she sounds bratty. Often times, if her plans are not followed exactly, she becomes extremely sarcastic, ending sentences with "fine."

Jaken is Hidoi's bigger sister, though she is not any larger. She is, however, a very shiny black, and much leaner than her sister. Jaken wears the same bracelets as her younger sister, but also carries on her left paw, making a lovely total of four. Her left bracelet is bright red. She is lithe, and fast, both in body and mental acuity. Removing any doubt of her younger sister, Jaken is a strong-willed, smooth-talking, highly inappropriate hyena. In silence, she will wait if need be, but if it gets awkward, she laughs loudly, forgetting caution. Most shinobi who have met her try to be as friendly as possible, because if it gets awkward, after the laughter comes the disrespect, and her sarcasm is unbelievable.

The Fifth is often called the Five-Tenor because of her massive, size. The odd thing about her is that she is incredibly large, but muscular and lithe. Her paws take up enough space that she is rarely, if ever, summoned near the Nomad encampment, for fear of her stepping on tents. She is a very shadowed shade of gray, meshed with yellow, and on each paw is one bracelet. the fifth one dangles as an necklace of gold. Other than that, she says one thing and usually does the exact opposite, blaming it on the incompetence of the ninja who summoned her. She is very rude, but noble to herself, considering herself above all others. Although she is incredibly rough to others, she has a soft side for females, usually becoming a nurturing mother type to the kunoichi in trouble. Just don't ask her to do more than she offers, or she gets cranky. She is the only hyena that doesn't laugh, though.

Dairihaha, or the Sixth, is quite possibly the laziest Hyena in the entire summon family. Looked on as the second strongest, though, she has intense power and demands respect, but her laugh is weak sounding, slight and tinkly, almost like broken glass. If she sees any blood or damage inflicted on the summoner, however, she rears up for action, standing at a massive 3 dozen meters high. A necklace, a tail ring, and 4 bracelets adorn her in different shades of gold and white. Her soft white coat shines wildly, and when she sprints away from trouble to sneak up behind the enemy (which she usually can't) she chuckles lasciviously, as though about to "score." The High Sister, as she sometimes calls herself, or "Mommy" as she's affectionately known is incredibly sensible when it comes to tactics, though less noble when it comes to social graces.

Hime the Seventh is known as "Gramma" or "High Elder." She is, however, the youngest, spryest looking Hyena out of all of them, except for Eimin. She is just a huge, several stories high young Hyena on par in terms of size with the Legendary Konoha Summons. Her face is smooth, her teeth are long and piercing, and her small round ears pick up the tiniest details. Her tactics are smooth, her laugh is genuine, and she's just a really great hyena to be around. She is rather known for becoming too attached to her summoner, though, and if one person gets to her first, She has problems helping out another person with the same contract. 7 Tiaras crown her head, showing her seventy years as high summon. She laughs when people try to tell her that they'll fall off in combat. They never do.
