Read This Everyone - Engi no Jutsu

It has come to my attention that the debate threads have steadily become more flame wars than actual real debates. I'm going to set some ground rules with this little sticky.

1. No name-calling, insulting, flames, subtle snide comments, or anything of the like.

2. Keep your comments neutral. What I mean is that the tone should be neutral. You can be passionate about your side, yes, but you can do it by sticking to the issue at hand, not on why the other person is so obviously an idiot.

3. If you disagree, don't go all, "You fucking retard, it's really like this." What you should say is something along the lines of, "I'm sorry, but I must disagree with you because of so-and-so reasons."

Anyone who crosses this line which I have just set down will be subject to temporary bans, and even permanent bans if I deem it necessary. If you believe that a post has been something that would not be acceptable, please PM me or another moderator. We'll look over the post and judge accordingly.

cewl, I must agree with meno though it's really tempting for me to say baka in allot of conversations ^.^'

I disagree with this deciscion, at least part of it. A lot of what makes up a debate is passion. I agree that it shoudln't be allowed in the extreme though.

Warnings will still need to be given out before even temporary bans.
