Default Oak's Swaps

Kibishii's Swaps

Hiyou no Kouchuu (Flight of the Beetles)
Stage: 1
Replacing:
Requirements:
Description: The first in Kibishii's personal line of techniques, Kouchuu no Hiyou is a prerequisite to all of her other jutsu. It can be executed without a handseal, but requires the seeds so vital to the shinobi of Kusagakure. Several seeds are placed in the palm, and with a pulse of chakra, grow within seconds to form a common beetle. These plantlike appearing beetles quickly form a shiny black shell, and become indistinguishable from normal beetles. This jutsu alone is basically useless. This generates three beetles. Fully capable of all the functions a normal beetle possesses, the decoys' movement is controlled by, and completely dependent upon, Kibishii. If they stray over a mile away from her, or Kibishii falls unconscious, they will revert to seedling state and become useless.

Kouchuu Kanchou (Beetle Spies)
Stage: 3
Replacing:
Requirements: Hiyou no Kouchuu
Description: The first truly useful technique in her arsenal, this allows Kibishii to 'see' through the eyes of any of her beetles. The vision is that of a human, not the faceted view of an insect, although it's still a technique usable only out of combat. Kibishii loses all of her other senses while using this, including her own sight, and has to lean against something or sit down to keep from falling over. She can 'see' from two beetles at once, although she will often come away with a bad headache if immersed in the jutsu for too long.

Bakuha no Kouchuu (Beetle Explosion)
Stage: 4
Replacing:
Requirements: Hiyou no Kouchuu
Description: As the name suggests, this jutsu allows Kibishii to detonate one or more of her active beetles. Replacement beetles can be created in the same post that Bakahu no Kouchuu is used in. This jutsu has a two post cool down. She can cause one beetle to explode with the force of an explosive tag, or all three with the force of an explosive pouch.

Touchou no Kouchuu (Beetle Bug)
Stage: 2
Replacing:
Requirements: Kouchuu Kanchou
Description: Perfecting the scouting technique, Touchou no Kouchuu lets Kibishii hear what her beetles are hearing. The initial stage allows her to hear from two beetles, although it can get overly confusing. This can be used at the same time as Kouchuu Kanchou, although the same restrictions apply. If the maximum amount of beetles are under the affects of both Kouchuu no Touchou and Kouchuu Kanchou at once, Kibishii will only be able to retain consciousness after the jutsu ends for ninety seconds. After this time period is up, she will fall unconscious for a full twelve hours.

Default Leaf Swap

Name: Leaf Thorn
Stage: 1
Description: Toosu runs a hand along the blade of her sword, coating it in chakra. This chakra acts as a magnet of sorts, drawing enough leaves to completely cover the katana's blade. These leaves are rigid and sharp, and although they don't lengthen the sword's reach, they create a serrated edge. This lasts for two posts before the chakra is exhausted and the leaves fall away.

Default Aburame Genjutsu

Name: Legion
Stage: 4
Duration: 1/2/4
Description: A simple genjutsu, Legion combines the Aburame's swarm with bunshin. Once the target sees Tetsumi form a single handseal, kikai start to pour from the chuunin's sleeves. Hundreds—no, thousands of the insects swirl in a storm around the girl before spreading out to envelope everything. Sight beyond a foot is impossible through the swarm of angry kikai, and outside sound is muted and dull in comparison to the drone of the legion. Any attempt to attack the black bugs is laughably futile. No matter what the target does, the kikai just keep on coming, but oddly enough… though the creatures will swoop and dive and tease the target, no insect will ever so much as brush their clothing.

Default Hidden Mist Swaps

Name: Thorn Pearls
Stage: 4
Description: Going off of Kirigakure no Jutsu, Thorn Pearls solidifies the mist in the air into caltrops. There are enough makibishi to make movement impossible without brushing into a number of the small "thorns." These makibishi are easily batted aside, but prove as quite a deterrent (mainly, Tekisui will admit, mentally) for anyone trying to navigate through the field. After two posts, the caltrops drop to the ground, and after three they revert back to water. While these small distractions are still in the air, they reflect and refract the light, creating a field of mindfuck bright rainbows and light rays that cuts visibility down to two feet.

Name: Pearls of Pressure
Stage: 4
Description: The spheres in this jutsu are noticeably larger—each now the size of a softball—and fewer than in Thorn Pearls. When an orb is disturbed, the water bursts with enough force to knock a thrown object off course, or prove as an annoyance to an attacker. Stage 3 and lower ninjutsu are also slightly redirected, with the exception of Stage 3 and lower Katon, which are negated. At the start of the third post after usage, the orbs that remained intact "detonate."

Name: Pearls of Pain
Stage: 6
Description: Though the size of each "pearl hasn't changed from the previous jutsu, there are now only a grand total of eight spheres. They are jam-packed with water, and because of the amount of chakra they are infused with, Tekisui can manipulate the position of each pearl in the area that was once covered in mist. They don't travel particularly fast, their speed comparable to a brisk walk. When disturbed, these orbs shoot forth a starburst of sharp, steel-hard spikes extending two meters in every direction. One post after blooming the pearls revert to water.

Name: Perspiration
Stage: 1
Description: Exactly what the title says. Tekisui uses a small amount of chakra to force moisture from her limbs, creating an unusually slippery layer of sweat that lets her more easily slip from an opponent's grasp.

Name: Sparkle
Stage: 2
Description: Through a careful manipulation of the moisture that's ever present in the air, the jounin can force her glasses and any other jewelry she is wearing to reflect even the barest of lights, seemingly straight into the opponent's eyes. This distracting effect lasts for two posts.

Name: Sweating Bullets
Stage: 3
Prerequisite: Perspiration
Description: Not quite what the title suggests, this jutsu advances on Perspiration and forces the water from the woman's pores into multiple, one-inch long sharp spikes. The effect is much like spiked arm or leg protectors, but lasts only one post before reverting to simple sweat.

Name: Melt
Stage: 3
Prerequisite: Water Puddle Technique
Description: Like its prerequisite, this jutsu takes an object and turns it into water. Instead of turning herself into a puddle, though, Tekisui pulses chakra through an object not in an opponents inventory (i.e., something she owns, or a fluff item). After a post of concentration, the item will phase into water and remains that way for five posts.

Name: Scrubbing Bubbles
Stage: 6
Prerequisite: Water Cannon
Description: Tekisui breathes out an incredibly quick stream of bubbles. Being within the beam is much like being between two pieces of sandpaper; even a glancing blow is enough to tear away the epidermis. A solid hit tears away flesh and polishes the blood from the victim's bone. This stream has a one foot radius.

Default Oak's Mist Swaps

Name: Geyser
Stage: 5
Description: After forming a series of handseals, Tekisui slams her hands onto the ground. What look like veins of water spread in a two-meter diameter around the jounin and begin to bubble menacingly, accompanied by a faint sulfuric smell as the scientist stretches her chakra deep beneath her. Moments later an eight foot thick plume of water surges upwards with unstoppable blunt force, punching through the hardest of building materials and breaking bones with ease. Tekisui cannot move her hands until the jet of water collapses, about ten seconds after it first appears.

Name: Swing
Stage: 2
Description: A technique that stands as a testament to Tekisui's advanced chakra control, Swing creates what is essentially an inch-thick pole angled in any direction. Invisible to those who cannot see chakra save a very slight refraction in the air, there really isn't an offensive purpose to the three-meter long creation. Tekisui can forge the immovable beam merely by focusing chakra to a hand, but it lasts only a post.

Name: Embrace of the Sea
Stage: 5
Description: This gelatinous creature has only one purpose: crush. It's a gross sight from the time Tekisui "summons" the thick-limbed octopus to when it wraps its eight limbs around to the target it rose under. Once the beast closes even one tentacle over its victim, the rest of its body inexorably folds the hapless person into a suffocating embrace. It takes only one post for ribs to crack, and by the time the creature drips away at the end of the second post, the target's arms, legs, and hips are no doubt riddled with painful fractures. It takes a base strength of level four or higher to rip away the woman's creation.

Name: Shrivel
Stage: 3
Description: An intimidation tactic above all else, this rather benign jutsu is essentially a modified Water Manipulation. Even as Tekisui forms the required handseals the surrounding fauna begins to wilt and wither; by the time the woman finishes the lengthy series she stands in the center of a deadzone. Trees drop their leaves, grasses and flowers are reduced to dust, and even the sturdier brush loses any semblance of life. The moisture Yamada sapped from the plants is pushed straight into the ground, effectively creating a swamp with a ten-meter radius.

Default Kikai Genjutsu Swaps

Name: Kikai: Prime
Stage: One
Duration:
Description: This jutsu compels the victim to look at Tetsumi's kikai. They're not forced, but they're acutely aware that the kikai are there, and they may feel a sense of anxiety or paranoia when they ignore the kikai for too long. When Tetsumi has more than one group of kikai out, she can subtlety influence which group receives the bulk of the attention, rather than driving someone insane by not being able to look at all groups at once. In addition, if they are not aware of a certain group of kikai, they are not alerted through the usage of this genjutsu. The trigger is spotting the group of kikai that Tetsumi has indicated as "prime."

Name: Kikai: Prison
Stage: Two
Duration:
Description: The counterpoint to the above technique, Tetsumi throws a kunai or other projectile at the victims feet, which then appears to burst into hundreds of kikai, which surround the victims in an opaque dome. The prison scales to fit its victims (those within ten feet of the thrown kunai), deliberately not touching any within its walls. If someone moves through the perceived walls, they break through the genjutsu with no harm done, but the people left inside will see them enveloped by kikai as they pass through and will probably be reluctant to share the same fate. While sound is not blocked by the kikai, it is muffled beneath the sound of their wings and pincers.

Name: Kikai: Posses
Stage: Four
Duration:
Description: The victims see Tetsumi unroll a scroll, and when she lets it fall to the ground, everything is bugs. It becomes clear to the victims: The ground, the trees, their teammates, their enemies, their weapons—all of it is composed of hundreds of thousands of kikai. The shock of it is horrific, and although logic dictates that the world cannot truly be made of kikai, it is impossible to determine what is and what isn't made of bugs during the duration of this technique.

Default Oak's Swaps

Name: Self-Preservation
Stage: 3
Description: Tetsumi uses a lot of techniques that use a lot of projectiles, and through working with Kiyoko she knows that her specialized jutsu can end up being just as dangerous for her as the target. As such, she's developed a way to protect herself from her own projectiles. During down-time, she "attunes" her weapons to her chakra, and when they leave her hands she can choose to use this technique, which causes them to "recognize" her and cushion their sharp edges and impact (with the chakra she imbued them with) should they come back into contact with her. This is only effective if Tetsumi was the last person to influence the projectiles' paths; if someone deflects or catches and releases the projectiles, the chakra is interrupted and the technique is rendered ineffective.

Default Precision Fist and Projectile Swaps

Name: Throwing Punches
Stage: 3
List: Precision Fist
Tetsumi is, at heart, a projectile specialist, and her adventures in taijutsu have naturally drifted towards long-distance fighting. Using the mastery of pure chakra as a weapon that Precision Fist has granted her, Tetsumi charges a hand or fist with chakra. Instead of the explosion occurring when Tetsumi physically connects with something, she is able to "throw" her chakra at the same speed and strength as any projectile. Once she has mastered the technique, this knowledge becomes passive, and Tetsumi does not have to expend herself any more than the style already requires in order to launch her blows (i.e. no jutsu usage expenditures). Because of some weird thing called "physics," no throw is perfect; the impact of these launched attacks is a stage less than Tetsumi's highest. She can launch the fist-sized, blue glowy transparent orbs (aka chakra colored) as far as she can throw any projectile.

Name: Escape Protocol
Stage: 3
List: Precision Fist
Instead of using the explosive power of Precision Fist to attack, this technique turns the earth-shattering force back on the user. Tetsumi focuses her chakra like usual, then "vents" it into the air. The force generated by this technique is enough to launch her backwards at speed, away from any looming danger (up to ten feet). Because of the nature of the technique, no one standing in front of Tetsumi is harmed by her release of chakra, though a collision with her rapidly flying body would doubtlessly injure both parties.

Name: Missile Deflection
Stage: 5
List: Precision Fist
Through a combination of raw chakra and centripetal force, Tetsumi blasts back incoming projectiles and ninjutsu. Ninjutsu of stage four or lower are dispelled; stage five, six, and seven continue forward unimpeded. People within the 5m radius of this spinning technique are pushed inexorably backwards unless they have some way of anchoring themselves to the ground (foot spikes or wall walking, for example) and may be hit with deflected projectiles. The duration of this techniques is very brief due to the amount of chakra it requires; Tetsumi can continue spinning for a maximum of five seconds (one post/one action), then absolutely must rest. She needs at least a one post cooldown before such large amounts of chakra can be expelled again, or Tetsumi will explode (hollow bones, you know. Very low stamina).

----------

Name: Bridge to Nowhere
Stage: 2
Type: Ninjutsu
Based on the same principles that allow projectile users to hover in the air while using scroll-based techniques, this jutsu changes the landscape of a battle. Tetsumi throws a blank scroll, which unrolls rapidly to create a bridge of sorts (up to 15m long/high). While the structure is not durable (can be destroyed by any physical attack), it does resist the elements unless they are aided by chakra (i.e. you can't just take a match or cup of water to it, and non-ninjutsu wind won't knock it down). The purpose of this technique is to provide Tetsumi with a vantage point for her projectile usage. If the bridge remains intact, it lasts for three posts; if the segment between the originating point and the apex is destroyed, the paper drifts back down to earth. Anyone on the bridge at the time, friend or foe, has their landing cushioned by the remaining chakra in the scroll.

Name: Border Patrol
Stage: 3
Type: Ninjutsu
This technique begins like Bridge to Nowhere, but the scroll Tetsumi throws is covered in kanji declaring "Keep Out" in bold writing. This time, the paper does not take any weight, but instead drops a flurry of senbon. Each needle has a clear string attached to the end, creating a crisscrossing fence that is partially visible in all but the dead of night (when, y'know, you can't see shit). Should this 3m x 10m fence be disturbed, the strings snap like rubberbands, sending the hundred-odd senbon converging in on the point of disturbance. As these senbon are not truly "aimed," it's practically impossible for vital spots such as eyes or temples to be hit, but getting a few dozen needles in your arms and back still sucks.

Default Ryuujin-Fu Swaps

Name: No Light
Stage: 1
List: Ryuujin-Fu
Kiki combines her knowledge of TLO with her burgeoning proficiency with fire to change the consistency of her flames. Where a normal practitioner would light up the night sky like a beacon, Kiki's flames cast no light, transforming her into a whisper of death once the sun has gone down. Accordingly, the normal orange-red of the techniques inherent to Ryuujin-Fu are instead the blue-black of the night sky. This effect doesn't carry over to whatever Kiki might light aflame, allowing her to create torches or betraying her position through collateral damage. Passive.

Name: Black-out
Stage: 2
List: Ryuujin-Fu
For a brief period of time (2 posts), Kiki can extend her power of light manipulation to anything on fire by her hands. Instead of giving off light, the flames now absorb it, casting everything within the typical radius of a fire's light—about two meters—into shadow. Like a normal fire, this shadow has gradients of strength: The shadow is deepest near the flame, and large amounts of this black fire will compound the effects and create a furnace as dark as night even during midday.
