Default Sakuragi Takeshi - KSHD Field Doctor

Name: Sakuragi, Takeshi
Age: 17
Sex: Male
Height: 5' 5"

Character Type: Shinobi

Country/Village: Grass Country/Hidden Grass Village
Rank: Chuunin
Division: KSHD, Field Doctor

Physical Description:
Takeshi Sakuragi has never been an imposing looking nin, barely standing at five feet five inches he continuously gives the vibe of an atypical "98 pound weakling" with his almost wire like body frame. While personally not embarrassed with the way his hair looks he often tries his best to hide it. It is brown in color and cut short on the sides and the back while the remaining hair is trimmed leaving about 2 inches of hair that can be styled or easily washed and left as is. It is often furled and messy looking since it is often worn under his bandanna. One thing that everyone seems to notice about Takeshi's facial appearance is that he has a large and jagged x-shaped scar right between his eyes. It starts at the top of his eyebrows and goes down to the middle of his nose; intersecting at the bridge. While Takeshi's overall facial appearance is pretty much a mystery to all if he were ever unmasked one would see he is "normal looking", not exactly ugly but obviously other people were blessed with better looks. As a child he was described as "plain", others deemed him "ugly" on his brown beady eyes alone.

At best Takeshi's skin tone is a light tan color. He obviously spends some time outdoors but he does his best to keep himself well covered. Littered across his body are several scars which vary in degrees of severity. On his right hand is a symbol that was burned into him to show he was a prisoner of war in Water Country. Takeshi attempts to maintain semblance of an aura of self-confidence, he never slouches and his medical upbringing has ensured he is quite "clean" in nature to the point that he shaves almost every day.

Clothing: Sakuragi's immediate noticeable worn item is his glasses due to a horrible astigmatism. They are not necessarily thick or huge, but when you consider the fact that he wears a dark green shinobi facial mask and also wears his forehead protector in the fashion of a hat or all covering bandanna. It's bound to be the first thing you look at. His glasses are specially tinted to darken up when he's outside in the sun but disappear when he is indoors.

Besides this weird need to cover his face all the time Takeshi wears the uniform of a Grass-nin that he rightfully earned. He wears a dark green cotton shinobi garb but is often seen rolling up the sleeves to the middle of his fore arm. He also added pockets on both sides of the middle of the sleeves. Draped around his torso is a Grass-nin Flak Jacket that's slightly been augmented on the inside to carry more items. He wears the symbol of KSHD Field doctor not just on a big patch on his back but also a smaller patch on the higher left part of his vest. He covers his scarred and somewhat calloused hands with a pair of fingerless gloves and though it is never always visible he wears a silver necklace that has a shield attached to it. For footwear Takeshi once again dons the covered sandals that were issued to him but he wears a pair of well insulated black tabi socks so his toes are never exposed.

Personality: Self-doubting, there is no better word to fit what Takeshi is. It isn't that he feels incompetent, he just assumes he is naturally disadvantaged in everything he does. Regardless Takeshi continues to exhibit the qualities that the Sakuragi family had found admirable for years, such as kindness, determination, an eagerness to help others, and even courage in the face of adversity.

However Takeshi doesn't choose to push on because he wants to, he does it because he has no alternative. He has lost so many things important to him that being a shinobi is the only thing he has now. However being a shinobi was not exactly a sound career choice as Takeshi has an aversion to violence. He feels that if people didn't resort to fighting to resolve their differences he wouldn't have to be where he is now. When forced into a combat situation the medic has a tendency to stand back and support others then he is to attack someone directly. Even when he is engaged directly he prefers to fight in a very evasive manner and has preferences to escape or disable over directly killing someone.

Even though he has displeasure that his occupation exists, because so many are injured while fighting, he continues to have good bedside manner. He treats his patients with the care and devotion that a man would have with his own family. What he lacks in social ability in normal situations he makes up for it when he talks to someone at bedside. He isn't like most doctors who insist that a patient is nothing more than the problem he has. He prefers to see his patients as human beings forced to become weak by fate, and he is the person that is meant to make them what they were.

However the disadvantage to such an approach to patients lead to very destructive results. Takeshi takes the death of a patient very personal, almost as insult to his ability. He'll often throw himself into a form of depression afterwards and insist that the loss of the person is proof he doesn't deserve to be a doctor. However his position is very important to him, he has worked very hard to get where he is today and he refuses to allow others to "talk down to him". In reality he feels the very fact that he has made a stand is proof he deserves to be a chuunin.

Nindo; "Way of the Ninja": "The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. Perhaps I was not meant to be a shinobi, but now that I am I will do what I do best; save lives."

Biography:

As a fifth generation Sakuragi Takeshi was born the middle child of Dosetsu and Hanako Sakuragi, this generation was one of the first groups of Sakuragi children to not understand the hardships of running the clinic. For the first time ever the small clinic was not in debt and had found a niche in catering to the public. Unlike the two larger hospitals in Hidden Grass the clinic was able to take care of their patients immediately and had a tendency to keep a much friendlier bedside manner. This combined with the fact that the clinic sold medicines and elixirs that not just treated and cured sicknesses but also enriched the lives of those who took it ensured the business never went under. The Sakuragi clinic was never one to make a large profit, but it never mattered to them. Medicine was a passion not a business, the clinic just happened to be the best way to make their passion come to fruition.

Being the middle child Takeshi was not raised to be the next owner of the clinic. That was left to his older brother Shizuo, who was admittedly smarter than him. He was also not allowed to nurse the patients either as his younger sister, Uriko, was being trained under her mother to be the head nurse. Mostly because Uriko was a beautiful young girl whose presence seemed to please even the grouchiest of people, and nursing was publicly seen as a female occupation.

However Takeshi would not allow the fact that he could not be trained by his parents stop him from helping the clinic. He may not have been the smartest or the best looking, but he was passionate and wanted to help others. He did the only thing he could and started to tend to the herb garden from which the clinic would make it's medicines and elixirs. Dosetsu was amazed to see the boy do this by himself without even being asked or instructed how. So he began teaching his middle son not just about herbalism but about medicine in general, as well other forms of medical care necessary to be an apprentice apothecary. Dosetsu consistently told Takeshi he could not promise him the clinic when it was his time, as he had already determined that the elder Sakuragi boy was adept enough to perform the necessary and tedious duties one had to do to run a clinic. However Takeshi's father told him that he was a very passionate boy and that whatever he wanted to do with his life would be done well as long as he really wanted it, and that whatever it was as long as he helped others he had his father's blessing.

All was well and good for the Sakuragi family until one day Dosetsu had told his family that he was leaving for the jungle to investigate rumors of a secret "miracle-cure all", he never came back to the hidden village again. With the Sakuragi's head of household being the heart and soul of the family and it's practice things started to appear rough around the edges, and the public took Dosetsu's disappearance as a sign of the clinic's weakness. Shizuo and his mother began to argue constantly as to why things were not going well. Uriko, heartbroken over her father's disappearance, ran away from home looking for him. When things only got worse the family sought the help of the Grass-nin, and poured what little resources they had in hiring a search party to find the missing person. Sadly the mission was a failure in the sense that the group was unable to find any traces of the man.

Downtrodden, lonely, and sad Takeshi spent his time in alleyways and cried to himself. Often over the pressures he felt of not just having his father around, but the clinic slowly falling into dire financial straits. It was during one night of crying to himself that Takeshi met Kisaragi Taka, a medical jounin reputed to have a soft spot for children. The two talked for hours and eventually the medical-nin was able to talk the child into enlisting into the Hidden Grass Village's Ninja Academy under the idea that this was the best way to earn money to keep the clinic open.

His mother and older brother protested to the idea that he could be a ninja, he was much too old to start taking up the skill and even then he was not a fighter. They felt there could never be enough money involved in such a trade that it would mean risking his life and killing others. The Academy felt the same way, a true ninja started practicing at a very young age, their bodies and minds by Takeshi's age needed to be conditioned to take the harsh punishments that will occur during their academy years to become Genins. This had not applied to such a person as Takeshi, who had never even held a weapon let alone fought with someone else. There were children younger than him that were much more capable, entering the academy at such an old age wasn't only a danger to him, but it is a waste of the instructor's time. However his father's speech echoed in the young boy's heart and mind. He knew that it didn't matter how inexperienced or untrained he was as long as he really wanted it he could accomplish this difficult goal.

However when Sakuragi became an academy student he forgot one other hurdle, his classmates, most of the other academy students had ties with the ninja; their fathers were ninja, their father's father were ninjas. Sakuragi had even heard that some families were so special that they had their own special powers. To a majority of the students Sakuragi, one of the first members of his family to become a ninja as well as not receiving any support whatsoever from them, was considered a laughing stock and a person not worthy of becoming a Genin. In fact on the first day of school he had dressed normally and actually didn't wear a hat, and a girl said that he was "ugly" and resembled "an ogre". The laughing and joking of Takeshi's appearance would be what eventually caused him to cover his face and hair. By hiding himself he was able to keep a shell of defense around him, which made the insults hurt less.

And if it wasn't the jeering school mates it was the hard instructors, such ideals as throwing weapons and fighting were very foreign to Sakuragi. But somewhere along the line the instructor's found his strong suits, Chakra. Takeshi knew a lot about chakra, the flow of life energy through the body, pressure points, and other things that most medical practitioners knew much about. Such a large intelligence on the subject earned him one of the better grades when it came to using chakra. Also Takeshi cared for the other students whenever they got hurt. Which in the academy was quite often. In the span of three years that Takeshi was in the academy his class had the lowest count of permanent injuries and calls to medical. In the mean time the other students, the ones who ridiculed Takeshi day in and out, were shocked to see him care so much about them when they had said such hateful things. Sakuragi however knew the truth, these students were his team members, his comrades, to let them down and see them in pain would be an insult to his family. He could never forget their hurtful words and actions but even with all that he must help them because it was the right thing to do.

After three years of Academy teaching Takeshi proved everyone wrong by graduating from the academy and attaining the rank of Genin, earning his forehead protector, and then became a medical-nin. Many scoffed, apparently they let ANY child be a genin these days. But the boy ignored them, their words meant little to him anymore. The team planners of Hidden Grass were very unsure where exactly they could put Takeshi on a team, granted his grades were fine but he had very little ability to defend himself. He could easily be a liability to his teammates and sensei. So for several months Takeshi was never placed on a team and instead he learned from his mentor, Taka Kisaragi, the two seemed to work well together.

Probably because the two were social outcasts who preferred to cover their faces, they also both came from families that were known for being medical care practitioners. However what Takeshi did not know was that the Kisaragi were forced to sacrifice their own sanity to know some of the most forbidden of medical techniques. And Taka was no different, the medic had a tendency to not remember which gender they were. Out of fear of embarrassment this was why the medic hid their face, not knowing whether they were a man or woman, and not willing to have to answer the question to others. He was also very androgynous in size and voice this was also complimented by the fact that he had naturally pink hair. In reality no one knew Taka's true gender, not even herself. But of course everyone believed since he was named "Taka" he was obviously a male and was treated as so. In truth Taka had no overall concern for the issue.

The two medics worked with each other for some time, in return for these small odd jobs he was assigned Takeshi earned some money which he always gave to Shizuo to run the clinic. However Taka felt uneasy, Takeshi was a genin, he needed to be on a team, with people his own age. What the boy really needed was friends, which admittedly he didn't have. Then one day, while being bullied by a group of Academy drop-outs, two boys came out of nowhere and proceeded to fight the degenerates. As Takeshi looked on he saw what was the true physical potential of a genin and immediately felt inferior in the process. When the conflict ended the two boys looked down upon Sakuragi and they smiled upon him. It was on this day he found his team.

One of the boys was named Mikaru Aki, he was considered an enigmatic child who was forced to live on his own after his mentor died. He had a very odd ability of being able to use the poisons of plants to aid him in a fight. The other boy Mayafumi Teishi was an overly energetic boy who often smelled of citrus fruit. He had a family and was actually quite popular with others but he often felt that other people "just didn't have what was necessary to be around him". He was always in high spirits and honestly preferred to be around good-natured and passionate people. The three were joined with a sensei named Bushiwara Keiko, a woman who seemed to enjoy being around cats more than people.

Somehow the team, aside from their overall personal quirks, got along very well. Aki finally had the company he needed, Teishi found the passionate people he wanted, and Takeshi got the support he needed to be a better nin. And for years all seemed well amongst the team, until they got to the Chuunin Exams a year later.

The exams proved to be harder than anticipated, the boys were weighed and measured by not just how they worked as a team but as individuals and in the process of this test something bad happened. The team was forced to engage a rival team and they began to fight, for one of the first times the medic was forced to fight in something that certainly could have resulted in his death.

What happened during the exams could never come out of Takeshi's memory as he watched Teishi fall in combat and instead of continuing his fight he instead chose to disengage and revive his teammate. But he was unable to as he laid there dead. Aki saw the odds and then decided that he was already forced to watch one teammate die, he was not going to watch Takeshi fall as well. And so using one of his trump cards who took an increasingly deadly amount of poison into his body and then proceed to lay waste to his enemies. However in the process his body couldn't withhold all the damage he purposely did to himself and he died, sacrificing his own life so Sakuragi could live on. His final words, "Don't give up Takeshi, push on. Become a chuunin for me, for Teishi. Please don't give up because we died..."

Failing his first attempt at the Chuunin Exams and losing the only friends he ever had some would have assumed that Takeshi would have given up. Granted for sometime he in fact did, but as the memories of Aki's last words filled Takeshi's heart the medical-nin knew that he had to become a chuunin now, for the memories of his friends. If he gave up and failed now, then their efforts of helping him in the past would have been in vain.

Still under the tutelage of Keiko the team picked up two new genins, however Takeshi's fear of not being able to care for his teammates continued to consume him and he started to focus even harder on learning medical techniques over actual combat. As his drive to learn and become stronger began to get work Keiko realized that Takeshi was quickly burning himself out from the stress of watching his friends die. As much as it hurt her to do it she released the young medic from her responsibility so that maybe he would be matched with a team that could give him what he needed to move on.

For several months the genin was passed around from team to team, never staying anymore then a couple of weeks with a single group. It seemed like his hunger to be promoted exceeded those of others and his push to make others improve physically and mentally made him a somewhat overbearing person to be around. During this period he would attempt the exams on three additional occasions and failed each time. Eventually he was grouped with a pair of "drop-out" genins who combined had attempted the exams 14 times. They had accrued enough experience and had trained themselves enough during their off-time that it was decided they were "due" to be promoted next time they attempted the ordeal. The team uneventfully passed their exams and proceeded to be promoted.

For weeks Takeshi laid in his bed and had this hollow feeling to him. He had worked so hard to become a Chuunin that during the last few years it had been the only thing he concentrated on. Now that he was finally the rank it seemed like he had no further purpose. Especially when it took so little effort to pass the exam this time it angered him. However in the end the medical division of Grass would decide that it was time to enlist Takeshi into the ranks. He was assigned to work exclusively under Taka as his nurse and for a couple of years the two did an incredible amount of humanity work, traveled quite a bit, and earned quite a bit of money.

Then one day the mission planners of Hidden Grass gave them a high-ranking mission. The nation of Seagull Country was undergoing a war with Water Country. Having suffered many casualties the Seagull Country was interested in hiring medical-nins from Grass to help establish a Mobile Ambulatory Surgical Hospital. Grass was apprehensive of putting good medics so close to a war zone that involved Hidden Mist and had no want to be concerned in, but the amount was so much they'd be foolish not to take it.

So Taka and Takeshi were sent to Seagull Country to establish the hospital to heal Seagull Country soldiers, the two would continue their work for several months. As the wear and tear of war began to take toll on the duo Taka began to grow frustrated and seemed to be acting in a stranger manner than usual. There were moments the jounin would act like Takeshi was "more than just a friend", and then there were moments where the medic seemed to want to hit the young man in frustration. Even stranger one night, when all had seemed quiet Taka sneaked into Takeshi's tent and proceeded to stare at him while he was asleep.

The chuunin was awakened by Taka's labored breathing and proceeded to act quite erratic at his mentor's behavior. The two then proceeded to argue and in the end Takeshi decided it was within his best interests to step outside and take a walk for "some fresh air". When he came back to the site of the hospital he watched as it was in the process of being raided by Mist-nin. Men that both Taka and Takeshi had spent days patching up and caring for were dying with the quickest of fell swoops, chaos rang true like a tsunami on an unsuspecting village.

The nurse quickly ran into the fray, fighting with all the ability he had learned over the years. With the hospital now destroyed the mission objective was irrelevant. He needed to find Taka and leave while they still had a chance. Amongst a quiet spot in the battle Takeshi found his mentor fighting a Mist-nin, but then in front of his eyes the medic watched his mentor take a blow to the body with a sword that mortally injured him. While the attacker's back was turned Takeshi quickly rushed the Mist-nin and then proceeded to frantically stab him in the back until he stopped moving.

He approached the body of his dying mentor and with just minutes to live Taka told his student to do him a favor and help him solve the riddle he never could. He wanted him to take off his mask and tell him what he was. With tears in his eyes Takeshi grabbed the cloth of his mentor's face mask and brought it down to reveal the face of a woman. A beautiful one at that.

Taka was relieved, all his feelings and frustrations made sense now and for the first time ever the Kisaragi had something none of them had, a clear mind. "I... I love you Takeshi," she told him, "I always loved you ever since you were that little boy that I found in that alleyway, crying over his father. All I ever wanted was to see you smile, at least once."

She then proceeded to cough up blood, "I took you in, I wanted to make a man out of you. And after this mission I was going to. I told myself I would plaster a smile on that sweet face of yours, but it looks like that won't be happening. I only ask now to stop crying, take off your mask and smile for me."

Using his hand Takeshi wiped the tears from his eyes and removed his mask and smiled. The woman smiled back and using her bloody hand rubbed the side of his face, smearing blood on his cheek and then pushed his face into hers for a kiss. As she shifted from her mortal coil in the middle of a loving embrace. Most would have ran away after that, choosing to save themselves, but Takeshi didn't. As he stood there trying to revive his fallen mentor he cried and yelled in futility. A group of Mist-nin found him with the body of his dead mentor and took him prisoner.

One of the first things the Mist-nin did after they beat him for a while was that they made him administer medical care to their fellow nin. They insisted that Taka and him were directly responsible for Seagull Country fighting for longer than they expected, and that Takeshi had indirectly caused the deaths of many because of his actions. They threatened him, told him that if he didn't care for their wounded they would kill him. However it wasn't necessary to put such a threat on him, in truth none of "these people" were his enemies he would care for them all if given the choice.

However word of the capturing of a Grass-nin during the Water/Seagull Conflict raised many suspicions amongst the higher-ups in Mist and as soon as they were able to ordered that Takeshi be placed in prison and interrogated. But Takeshi proved to be a difficult person to get information out of, not so much because he was a bastion of iron will and tight lips, but because his involvement in the war was nothing short of taking orders. He had no idea of "Grass' true intentions" or even anything that revolved around "information regarding Seagull Country.” Continuing to sound like a broken record Mist interrogators decided that if simple berating and questioning wouldn't work, then perhaps perhaps torture would work.

For months the medic was physically and mentally tortured. On several occasions the torture was so cruel that the chuunin was shuffled loose from his mortal coil, but the Mist would continue to keep him alive just long enough to continue torturing him. He was fed little, forced to drink infected water and was never allowed to sleep. Eventually Takeshi realized that Grass was not coming to save him and the Mist weren't going to let him go. Using what little chakra he had left he stopped his heart from beating in an attempt to take "The Coward's Way Out" in a very slow and painful process.

The interrogators and torturers insisted that it was a trick. That he was only "playing dead" or using a technique to feign death. They continued to watch him for several hours, thinking that he had taken a false death pill. However Takeshi continued to show no signs of life. Coming to terms that he was in fact dead the Mist-nin took his corpse and dropped it back into the borders of Grass Country, in an attempt to make an example of what would happen if Grass were to interfere in Mist's business again.

For most this would have been the end of the story, Takeshi was dead after all. But Grass was concerned over what Takeshi told them. They poured resources into reviving and rebuilding the chuunin medic and received a second lease on life. He was kept in a secluded and heavily secured section of the Grass hospital while investigators proceeded to probe his personal life and overall shinobi career to see just what exactly he knew. Not even aware of it from his hospital bed rumors began to spread about in the Hidden Village that Takeshi had turned traitor on his country, that he sold them out to the Mist-nin for his own life.

In the end Grass' investigation was inconclusive, Takeshi was just a simple field nurse assigned to one of the most gifted field doctors Grass had. Mist would have been better off interrogating Taka but she was killed in action. Unable to merit any kind of result that Takeshi was a traitor they decided to let the boy go. They never concluded to the people of Hidden Grass whether he did turn traitor or not, believing that the rumors would "die down in time".

However Takeshi would come upon a rude awakening when he came back to his home. While he was gone the clinic burnt down in a freak accident, taking his older brother, mother, and all the patients. The boy was officially homeless and left with only the clothes on his back and the medicine books he found while rummaging through the burnt-out ruins. It was at this time Grass gave Takeshi an offer. Having spent the majority of his career under Kisaragi's tutelage he most likely had more than enough experience to work field medicine; they offered the Chuunin his former mentor's rank of Field Doctor. He would then proceed to work on a live-in basis at a hospital, being called on for anything the Grass needed. Having little to his name and only Grass to depend on Takeshi accepted the offer.

For several months this was Takeshi's place in life caring for others in the hospital. It wasn't the most charmed of live, but it was a living nonetheless. Admiring the results he was providing in the hospital the Mission Planners gave the doctor a priority health-related mission, a outbreak of an unnamed disease had started to take it's toll in the village of Kouba. Takeshi was one of two doctors sent to investigate and research a possible cure before it had gotten out of hand. However the village had been infected far worse than had been anticipated and the symptoms of the disease were underestimated and patients had started to descend into a mental state that even insanity was an understatement.

The two doctors tried their absolute best to contain the outbreak and research the disease but in the end their findings only proved to help find an vaccine for the disease that would a person to be injected before actual infection, a cure just seemed out of reach. However the doctors couldn't help but feel there was outside interference in their mission caused by the village's doctor. Concerned they made emergency calls to their superiors and a large quarantine was placed on the village and kept under wraps, with the use of better doctors the cure was found, but more resources were used than anticipated. The mission was written off as a failure specifically because of Dr. Sakuragi's inability to generate a cure on his own.

Returning to Hidden Grass after the grueling quarantine Takeshi was grilled in a scathing debriefing and was punished for his failure. He would work, unpaid, in the walk-in wing of the hospital until further notice. The doctor willingly accepted his punishment and attempted to help as many people as he could in his position, which mostly consisted of Grass-Nins who had contracted STDs and other kind of disgusting practices.

Among his colleagues, Takeshi continued to be considered a bit of a tragic failure when it came to his abilities. While he worked well under pressure in the hospital it seemed like the moment he was put on the field he messed up. Some of the more childish ones would actually jeer the doctor on his failures. But he took their jests in stride as he reminded everyone that he never admitted that he was a great a doctor, but that he was always willing to learn more and try his best.

And it was around this time that things started to go nuts in Grass.

Rumormill began of internal conflict between groups of Grass-nin and slowly it started appearing like everyone was taking sides, even staff members at the hospital. Adding further insult to injury was the fact that conflict was occurring in an attempt to expand Grass Country's influence by invading neighboring territories. The mission request for medical-nin were coming in hot as many were succumbing to the injuries one receives fighting, and sadly many doctors chose to ignore the call out of fear of punishment when the victor would retain power and they were on the wrong side.

However Takeshi was not one of those doctors and instead actually accepted missions for both sides in attempt to save as many lives as he could. The struggles were bloody and disastrous, like most internal conflicts, but when Fukumen rose to exterminate Batsu and cement his position as Kusakage all Takeshi was concerned for was that the fighting would stop just long enough that the Grass-nins could recuperate. His feelings were cemented on the matter when representatives of the new Kusakage introduced themselves to hospital workers and insisted, "Every was fine, please go back to work."

Some workers strangely disappeared after that day, never to be seen again. Takeshi originally suspected some form of foul play after considering there opinions on the matter of the last conflict, however he decided it was best to just dismiss the idea and maintain the status quo for the sake of the patients he cared for.

The KSHD medical board were surprised of Takeshi's abilities of surviving the internal conflict and of his field reports that mapped every person he cared for that they decided to offer the doctor access to the secret medical technique archives. The board promised him that by learning techniques that might be considered “unethical” and “forbidden” that he could increase his ability to save others by almost ten fold. Remembering that his mentor had supposedly known “forbidden techniques” and saw what they did to her Takeshi refused slightly out of fear, but then maintained his stand on the manner by insisting that Kinjutsu was forbidden for a reason, and he would have no part of it as an ethical person.

However the issue was not pressed much further as controversy hit Hidden Grass, drug controversy to be exact, as "Druid's Heart" began to become a problematic drug that was raising concern in the country. Takeshi had first come to notice about the drug when the hospital started to enact a mandatory urinary test among resident physicians to ensure they were "clean". After the reported incident of overdose from the drug the field doctor was one of many hospital workers who was tasked with narcotics research. While he has spent some time mapping some of the chemical compounds that make the drug most of his time has been spent interrogating and analyzing vital statistics of addicts either on the influence or coming down from the high-risk drug.

In accordance to his observations (some being more physically intensive than others) Takeshi has written numerous reports on the effects of and the chemical composition of "Druid's Heart". He has, on several different occasions, expressed deep concern about the well being of the subjects he investigated and has written numerous funding proposals to investigate a method to rehabilitate and detox addicts as well as combat any other overdose incidents. Sadly the Medical Board has stated on many occasions that Hidden Grass is continuously pushing funding on the investigation and understanding of the drug, but have little to any concern about developing a method to cure the addiction or combat accidental overdoses. "They won't need a cure if they can destroy how it's made," he had been told.

Other Info:

If ever asked where his loyalties sided in the recent internal conflict Sakuragi will report that he felt more inclined to side with the Hensou, but saw that everyone needed help and so attempted to maintain some modicum of neutrality.

Right! So I believe I have made the necessary changes. Here are the following things I did.

1. Replaced Obsolete Lists for better, more sexier ones.
2. Trimmed a lot of the bio removing instances that implied an 11 year old had the ability to get an audience with the most powerful man in Hidden Grass and also Sound Nomad xenophobia.
3. Extended bio to include recent Grass conflicts.

AP was used, but still maintained to the specifications of member use. 6 was spent, and is pending deduction from my share as soon as character is approved.

So yeah, looking for approvals.

I believe your chakra stats are slightly off. If I count correctly, you have spent 31 pool points. Your link to universal ninjutsu also goes to the original list, instead of the updated one.

Thanks for reviewing, I saw the issues at hand and edited accordingly.

Your archetype bonus still refers to Diagnosis, though your techniques are updated to the new Medical List. No affect on functionality, but it may as well be edited. Along those same lines, you made all of your lists beyond the Grass Apothecary a larger size, which throws off the look/makes it slightly confusing.

Beyond that, I'll put my half-approval on this.

Yea bro. Tone down the font tags. Merdle don't like no font tag nonsense.

You also might want to mention the recent plots of Druid's Heart affecting shinobi (could have an effect in terms of patients in the hospital). The other plot I can see might not affect him.

Regardless, gotta love this guy. Can't wait for his power bar techniques ;P. Half-Approved.

I should have fixed the tags now, and everything should look fine and I fixed the special. I will certainly give some look-arounds for "Druid's Heart" because I didn't see it in the Grass Information and edit the bio accordingly.

Thanks for the heads up, Doughnut.

Edit: Put some of that Druid's Heart in the pipe. Give it a light and drag.
