Ozawa Sento's Swaps
Ichimoudajin (One Stone, Many Birds)
Stage: 5
The user charges electrical energy in the palm of his hand, then releases it in a small white sphere, approximately the size of a baseball. When it strikes an object, it explodes; the explosion is about as forceful as two explosive notes and emits a violent electrical shockwave on contact, stunning the initial target and anyone within 10 feet of the impact for a single post.

Kumo Shiryou no Jutsu (Cloud Spirit Technique)

Stage: 5
After performing the necessary handseals, the user exhales sharply and creates a large, semi-transparent cloud, approximately two feet in diameter and flickering with a white light internally from an electrical charge. The cloud immediately moves towards an opponent, releasing a violent electrical shock that causes numbness where the impact was made as well as first-degree burns when the two come into contact. The cloud itself moves as fast as any thrown weapon, and continuously harries its target for three posts.

Thunder Magnum
Stage: 6
A relatively straightforward jutsu, the user fires a spray of 3 fist-sized spheres of electrical energy, with force and range equal to a thrown shuriken. Not only do they provide a vicious shock, but they actively adhere to a target for 2 posts by attracting to the natural electricity in the human body. For the duration, the jutsu will cause continuous shocks that considerably disrupt motor function in directly targetted limbs, mild numbness throughout the body, as well as second degree burns in the area of impact. More or less physical in nature, the spheres can be removed by making them stick to someone or something else.

Aramaki Tenzan's Swaps (Celestial Gates)

Stage 1
Kurenai Shuko (Crimson Claws)
Required: Ryuujin-Fu, Stage 1
While Tenzan's first gate is active, he is able focus the once unstable and formless energies of Ryuujin-Fu's Ignition technique into a more solid form--a trio of curved six-inch claws that extend outward from his knuckles. Despite their appearance, the blades aren't capable of physically cutting a target, and still only singe an individual on contact. It shares the same duration as Tenka (Ignition).

Stage 2
Kurenai Kijuusousha (Crimson Machine-Gun Fire)
Required: Ryuujin Fu, Stage 2

With the corresponding Celestial Gate open, Aramaki Tenzan fires a rapid series of flaming jabs into a single target. While each individual punch isn't particularly powerful on its own, the high velocity nature of the technique allows Tenzan to throw three or four jabs in the span of a single second.

Stage 3
Kurenai Sandanjuu (Crimson Shotgun)
Required: Ryuujin-Fu, Stage 3
Once the third gate is open, Tenzan is able to use the Gates to augment his speed and strength into a single, powerful punch. It's anything but subtle, causing a significant burst of heat and force equivalent to that of two explosive tags.



Flow Acceleration: Pinnacle of Great Wisdom (Nagare Kasoku: Saiki Kanpatsu no Kiwami)
When the Gates are active much of what the user perceives is accelerated. In contrast, this technique forces the mind into a waking, meditative state. Usable a number of times equal to the number of Gates he has activated (to a maximum of 3 uses), the user can use this forced calm to negate Stage 3 or lower genjutsu that would alter his physical state (i.e. hunger, thirst, pain).

Stage 4
Kurenai Bakunetsu (Crimson Bursting Heat)
Required: Ryuujin-Fu, Stage 4
Opening the fourth Celestial Gate causes another marked change in Tenzan's appearance, turning his skin a bright, angry red. The accelerated chakra flow actually starts to cause a significant increase in temperature around Tenzan's body, emitting waves of blistering heat from his tenketsu. Fighting in close quarters with Tenzan becomes notably uncomfortable, and being in direct contact with him for more than one post can cause significant first-degree burns.

Flow Acceleration: Pinnacle of Hard Work (Nagare Kasoku: Hyaku Ren) All fighters tend to move in bursts. Techniques are, at their core, just one burst of movement followed by another. The primary limitation of these techniques is the breath or breaths taken in between. By breaking one's natural limitations, the user of this technique is able to use his increased oxygen efficiency to remove the need for those breaths in between. Three times per thread, the user is able to perform an additional taijutsu technique in the same action. The technique used must be two or more stages below the first (i.e. Stage 4 into Stage 2 or below).

Stage 5
Kurenai Kishin Shouson (Crimson Fierce God Burnout)
Required: Ryuujin Fu, Stage 5
For a single post after Tenzan invokes this technique, Tenzan's entire body is covered in flames pouring from tenketsu. The next active Celestial Gates technique used after Kishin Shouson is activated has an additional effect (though only the two listed below). After a successful application of the additional Gates technique, Kurenai Kishin Shouson causes Tenzan's Celestial Gates to immediately close, and cannot be used again for 3 posts. Further adding to the burnout effect, Tenzan is unable to use any Katon Ninjutsu or Ryuujin-Fu special techniques for the same amount of time.

This technique allows the user to perform much more complex maneuvers than the original. Only usable once per thread, the user is able to perform two taijutsu techniques at the same stage, as long as they are Stage 5 or below. Afterward, no Nagare Kasoku technique can be used for the remainder of the thread.

Stage 6
Kurenai Shinka (Crimson Sacred Flame)
Requirements: Ryuujin-Fu, Stage 6
Usable only once per thread and only when this or any higher gate is open, Tenzan can use this ability in conjunction with his sixth gate and Ryuujin-Fu. Tenzan's tenketsu cause a violent, fiery pillar to engulf him entirely, making him appear to self-destruct. The concussive blast extends for five feet on either side of him and can blow anyone around him backward while igniting anything that he's not wearing. While this doesn't seem terribly damaging on its own, the flames cauterize any open wounds Tenzan had suffered previously closed and 'burning out' natural poisons and chakra-based poisons up to stage 3.

Stage 7
Kurenai Karyudan (Crimson Flaming Dragon Bullet)
The penultimate manifestation of Tenzan's inner flame, opening the seventh gate affords him with an abundance of wild, untamed chakra. For a few moments, he can channel that emotion and rage into a single, focused effort, charging forward at full speed. This technique exhausts Tenzan's Juggernaut archetype ability, and for two posts he is immune to all forms of damage as long as he's moving forward--and while he's moving, his entire body is surrounded by a nimbus of flames that cause severe third degree burns to whatever he comes into contact with. The flames are intense enough that direct contact isn't even necessary to set something on fire; just being within five feet of him is enough to set anything flammable on fire for the duration of the technique.

Ryuujin Fu Swaps
Tiger's Roar (Houkou no Tora)
Stage 2
While Tenka is active, Tenzan releases a fireball through a punch or kick, approximately twice the size of his fist. It doesn't cause a whole lot of damage on its own; it's equivalent to one of his physical blows, and can't do more than singe a target, but it moves at incredible speed and has a range of approximately 30 feet. Using this technique, however consumes two posts from the duration of Tenka. Up to three can be discharged in a single post.

Dragon's Roar (Houkou no Ryuu)
Stage 4
Usable only while Tenka or Hanabi are active, Tenzan forms a ring in front of his body by waving both hands in a circle. Thrusting both palms forward through it, he releases a massive burst of flame and concussive force that's as tall as he is. The range is short--15 feet at best--but full contact will instantly set a target ablaze, causing 2nd degree burns and burning anything flammable that they might be wearing. The motion is rather involved and impossible to perform while moving, and once used, no Ryuujin-Fu technique can be performed for two posts after.

Kisaragi Yanro's Swaps
Gokumonken (Prison Gate Sword)

Stage: [4]
A purely defensive technique, Yanro enters a defensive stance, his sword crossed in front of his body diagonally. When attacked, Yanro channels chakra through the sword and shifts his weight backward, then forward into the attack, rebounding damage back into the attacker in the form a sudden, violent and forceful push. Physical attackers are blown back by the defense, and projectiles ricochet in another direction. Melee opponents are temporarily disoriented by the shock, rattled by the impact for a single post. This technique counts as the user's offensive AND defensive action for the post.

Sentsuizan (Spinning Chaser Slash)
Stage: [5]
Yanro begins this technique with a lazy fall forward, sword held across his body defensively. When he does move, he dashes full speed towards his opponent with a very low center of gravity almost seeming to disappear as he moves. He catapults himself forward with the momentum, taking a short leap as he gets within range and swinging horizontally, holding the blade close before suddenly lashing outward with it after rapidly turning his entire body once, as if drawing it from the sheath all over again. Meant as a killing blow, Sentsuizan is able to cleave right through an unarmored opponent.

Kabutowari (Helmet Splitter)
Stage: [3]
Yanro adopts a stance similar to Gokumonken, sword crossed defensively across his chest. He starts moving forward and takes a short leap into the air, suddenly accelerating into his descent and bringing his sword down with him, often on an opponent's head. Designed to break an opponent's guard, chakra adds considerable weight to an otherwise light weapon, allowing the downward momentum to do that much more damage.

Katon Ninjutsu
Stage 2
Hotaru Chitai (Firefly Zone)
After performing the necessary handseals, hundreds of small, light blue 'fireflies' form in the air around Reiko, filling a 30 foot diameter around her. They appear benign from a distance, but entering the zone will cause the fireflies to home in on a target and constantly sting them. The fireflies cause very minor burns and the entire field only lasts for three posts.

Seirei Tokkan (Dragonfly Charge)
Stage 4
Requirement: Hotaru Chitai
This jutsu can only be used while Reiko's Firefly Zone is in effect. The fireflies all converge on a single target and explode violently. Though individually weak, the collective burst carries a force equivalent to three explosive tags, and anything in the immediate area catches fire, causing significant third-degree burns.

Leaf Genjutsu
Gansaku Hotaru Chitai (Imitation Firefly Zone)
Stage 1
Trigger: Visual (Eye Contact)
Similar to the real version, Reiko triggers the genjutsu by performing handseals nearly identical to that of Hotaru Chitai. Light blue fireflies fill the air in a 30 foot diameter around Reiko and actively swarm any hostile that comes into the vicinity. The illusionary light is distracting, but not harmful.

Mukuro Koga's Swaps (Kaiki Special Techniques)

Darting Sparrow
Stage 3
This technique takes full advantage of the user's speed, and can be used from even a standing position. As long as Koga is within five to ten feet of his intended target, he leans forward and uses his chakra to fuel his forward momentum into a full-speed sprint, moving fast enough that his entire form blinks as if it were a mirage. Mid-dash, Koga slashes horizontally across an opponent's body stopping on the opponent's opposite side.

Default [Stone] Azarashi no Kuma


Ishiburo Goban's Swaps

Azarashi no Kuma
Stage 3
With the appropriate handseals, the user is able to alter the physical form of his golem into that of a very large stone bear, with the kanji for 'bear' appearing on its forehead. The transformation is mostly aesthetic, changing nothing about the physical make up of the golem, but giving it sharp claws and fangs--about as strong as a kunai. This jutsu still counts as one of the golem's seal uses.

Katon: Hinotama no Jutsu (Katon: Fire Soul Technique)
Stage: [4]
After performing the necessary handseals, four spheres appear revolving rapidly around the user's body. Approximately the size of a tennis ball, the burning globes of fire spin constantly around said user, and aren't directly affected by any objects they come into contact with. As long as the spheres exist, the user is able to use any Katon Ninjutsu and make it originate from the sphere rather than the user. The spheres can move up to 30 feet away from the user, and only one sphere can be used in this way per turn, consuming the sphere upon use. The spheres can be destroyed by a direct attack from an opponent, and still use up the user's chakra usages for jutsu when activated.

Katon: Uchinaru Homura (
Katon: Inner Flame)
Stage: [1]
Marked by a small, harmless flame that occasionally escapes the mouth, this simple survival technique allows a person to use an 'inner flame' to heat themselves, preventing the user from suffering the effects of frostbitten skin and hypothermia--effects of natural cold weather and not ninjutsu. This jutsu is passive, and does not require activation.

Typically, Ryuujin-Fu focuses on channeling fire to devastating effect. This technique focuses on condensation and rapid, violent expansion of flame instead. Usable up to four times in a single thread, Tenzan condenses the flames created by Tenka into his tenketsu and releases them on forceful contact with a person or object. The concussive force is equivalent to an explosive note and Tenzan himself is virtually immune to the blowback. Use if this technique is tied to Hanabi as well; it must be used first, and it immediately initiates Hanabi's cool down when activated.

Going with Stage Four here, since that seems to be the stage where Katon gets to be as powerful as an explosive note.
