Itsuki Hana
Keen Eyes: Blessed with remarkable eyesight, there is nothing that gets by the user. Their power of sight, whether or not it is 20/20, is sharper than most. They have a knack for finding whatever they happen to be looking for, and no detail, no matter how small, slips by them. It takes them only moments to find whatever it is they’re looking for, and if they do not see it they can say with confidence that it is not there—or just hidden very well. This can be as simple as finding keys in a messy room or impressive as picking out a face in a crowded square.

Physical Description: Oftentimes, when people see Hana, they see a girl marked by loss.

Hana carries herself with the deftness of a shinobi but the emotional fragility of an uncertain teenager. Every movement she takes is careful, deliberate, and transcribed, and despite once having a fiery temper, it has since been replaced with a meek demeanor. More often than not, she avoids eye contact and is constantly seen looking down. The beautifully wide, brilliant icy blue eyes that she was known for no longer possess any zeal or zest for life. Instead, they seemed weighed down by the world, marked by a distant look of steady depression.

Her body isn’t much different than a regular girl her age. Hana has always been thin, though puberty has made her a bit more shapely in the women’s department. While her metamorphosis is not yet fully complete, it is apparent that she is approaching the finish line. In addition to her newly defined, nearly exaggerated curves, a set of lithe muscle decorates her. Hana is no taijutsu master, but people can tell that she actively practices at least one style. Her legs are taut and strong, and her arms possess a healthy amount of muscle.

Framing her almond shaped face is a head of carefully layered, silky auburn hair that falls to her midback. Oftentimes left in a bun or ponytail, Hana is only seen with it down when off duty or a mission requires for it. Her cheekbones, while not very defined, are present and are raised more than the average person’s. Plush lips sit on her face and a very defined cupid’s bow decorates the space between her lips and small, upturned nose.

Indeed, Hana is quite pretty, with very few blemishes, aside from the kanji for "remember" tattooed on her right wrist and a light dusting of freckles that dances across her nose and a multitude of faded scars since healed by time and carefully trained medical ninja.

Clothing: To put it plainly, Hana dresses for whatever the mission she’s given requires. More often than not, this usually winds up in her wearing simple outfits, usually those provided to her by her village unless she requires a touch of subtly. In truth, the girl rarely dresses up anymore: She doesn’t find herself worth wasting the energy on. It also doesn’t help that she’s poor – the stipend she receives from the village is barely enough to keep her alive in her small, rundown apartment.

She doesn’t mind though. Rather, when out of uniform, she sticks primarily to hand-me-downs that she once received from her sensei and anything remotely cute that she can find while thrifting. Oftentimes though, people recognize what she wears as cheap, yet sturdily made textiles. Many articles of her clothing lack any kind of labeling or embellishment, and more often than not, stick to muted colors and tones. In truth, part of Hana wants to change up her wardrobe, but she just can’t bring herself to.

If someone were to catch Hana on a day off, the most common thing to see her wearing would be a pair of sweatpants and a plain T-shirt. More often than not, she remains inside, wrapped in a cocoon of pajamas and blankets, usually half-asleep and recovering from whatever mission she had just been on.

Personality: What do you tell a girl who has lost it all? That it all gets better, that life somehow gets easier with time?

Hana was once stupid enough to believe that. Since then, she’s experienced the death of her family and two senseis. She’s watched her fellow Leaf shinobi be murdered in front of her multiple times. She has been brought back from the brink of death and has ended more lives than she has digits. To put it in the simplest of terms, the girl has been through a lot. Any resemblance to the young, carefree woman that she was before becoming a ninja is gone: Any notion of emotional attachment is lost on her. She has begun to see people as objects, tools, herself included.

Despite this, survivor guilt keeps the genin awake at night quite often. It’s not uncommon for her to sleep away from other members of her team because of the nightmares that plague her. She is likely to cry out in her sleep, calling for people of her past. It’s rare for her to get more than a couple hours in because of it.

Often times, people call her short tempered. She’s quick to snap, but just as quick to retract back into her shell, at least around allies. Nowadays, she rarely questions about the motives of her enemies – she delivers death to them like a prescription written in the gray script of Konohagakure. She’s crafty, clever, cunning, but for the most part, the genin is broken beyond repair. Something about the girl just seems positively shattered, but there is no one to pick up the pieces this time.

Originally one of Ama's wrist blades, Hana has since taken it and turned it into something to fit her needs better. Certain missions require a subtle touch, and this blade provides just that. Stored within the tattoo on her wrist, it's capable of sliding out of her wrist just like a hidden blade, but it's unique in that should she remove it completely, it's actually a dagger. Since the dagger is essentially stored within a seal, the lethal poison that drips from it doesn't harm Hana, lest she cuts herself. Should she need it, the blade is also capable of forming a fiery blaze around it.

Biography: Hana had all of the ingredients for a happy life, two loving parents and a single, doting grandmother that meant the world to her. She came from a line of shinobi not especially prominent in the Hidden Leaf. Her father had taken his father’s name as surname, following his untimely passing, and her mother had grown up as an orphan, never knowing her parents who had died fighting some force many decades ago. The only thing the girl could ever want growing up was to see her parents more, but both of them were rarely capable of being at home, what with them rising stars in the world of shinobi. Her father had been a jounin, and her mother was a chuunin who could practically taste her promotion, at least until they were both ripped away from her.

About a year prior to her twelfth birthday, Hana lost both her parents to the war with Yukigakure. She had begun her ascent to geninhood during a time of war, when seeds of mistrust had been planted by the ANBU, and any notion of leading a normal life was lost to her. Originally, her parents had tried to keep her from entering the academy, but it took little to convince them to let her attend. Following their deaths, the girl saw why they had been so hesitant to let her join the academy. Death surrounded the business, but it only resonated within the walls of Konohagakure when the village lost someone who mattered to them.

Getting over the death of her parents was the beginning of a journey. Her time at the academy had been easy – the girl was quick to pick up on many of the techniques shown to her, and she proved to be quite the scholarly student. She graduated near the top of her class, ranking within the top ten. Things had begun to start looking up as she graduated shortly after the chuunin exams hosted by the Hidden Leaf: A hole still existed in her heart, but it slowly began to refill thanks to others.

One man in particular had shown great interest in Hana. He went by the name of Izanagi, and the two spent much of their time together. During the time they spent together, Hana’s grandmother’s health deteriorated, and she ultimately passed, reopening the hole in her heart. Shortly after though, Izanagi never returned home from a mission and was believed to be dead. Amidst all her strife, the genin still had to deal with the appearance of monsters, Sanada-like creations that sought to take more precious people from her.

For a long time, Hana rolled around in misery. She wasn’t sure what she was supposed to do. A secret Operation was held, one that Hana was deemed too new to be part of it. She took that time to train herself, to hone her skills until she could participate in such an event. Her chance came – Hana rushed to defend her village as several Sanada-like creatures invaded her village. They were cut down within the night, and Hana met the woman that would eventually become her new sensei, Ama.

Ama devastated the girl emotionally, time and time again. She brought the girl to her lowest point before she began to raise her back up, teaching her what it truly meant to be a ninja. She taught the girl autonomy; she gave her insight into how the policies of Konohagakure worked, how essentially, they were glorified mercenaries. Ama tested Hana’s loyalty to the village, which ultimately remained intact. Hana proved to be very loyal to her home, if only because she had no place to go. She had become a ward of the state, charged with carrying out deeds to bring in money. In return, she had a place to live, and food on the table. Things began to get easier, and missions came and went, and Hana further learned to hone her skills.

Ama’s death came shortly after Hana’s encounter with the reanimated dead. A multitude of deceased figures cropped up, supposed brought back to life, and it was with two Hyuuga, one of them being her genin teammate for quite some time, that they banished the figures back underneath mounds of snow. The death of Ama brought forth a fire in Hana that she had never experienced before – reeling with loss once again, she threw herself, sometimes recklessly, into new missions. She completed another trek through the Forest of Death – two in total, which for genin, proved to be quite uncommon.

Her bond with Hyuuga Yuu intensified for quite some time, however, the two became distanced after they began working separate missions. For some time after, Hana ran into a young boy with hidden talents like hers. She didn’t know who he was or where he was from exactly, but something seemed off – she knew that he knew how to murder, to pilfer, to execute. The two appeared to get along, accompanying one another for quite some time, if only because he simply had a tendency to he appear whenever she was given a task. The two learned to respect one another the best that they could. In the end, he disappeared too, though Hana believes that she can still feel his presence out in the world.

The few months that followed resulted in Hana’s once fiery tempered personality becoming more meek. She developed an air of apathy that, as if she believes that her death death is inevitable. Despite this, she proved to be diligent when given difficult tasks and assignments by her village and was subsequently reclassified into the Omoi division. Because of her track recording of surviving what very well may have been suicide missions, Konohagakure's officials cleared her for promotion shortly after escorting a merchant caravan to and from Valley Country, her dealings with a witch, aiding in the capture of Fire Country criminals, and efforts in improving relations between the village and Sunagakure.

Okay, like Juu addressed... first and foremost just because no one hasn't posted on your character doesn't mean it hasn't been looked at. Even if it has, you still shouldn't bump it unless seven days has passed. More often things are worked on from bottom to top so you're not doing yourself any favors. You're also breaking rules.

Now, a couple of things on this one. It is much better than the first attempt, I'll give you that xD but still some problems and I can tell your a little confused.

With the name you don't need the comma separating the last name and the first name. In Japan, family names or last names are always written first. Also, Monika isn't actually Japanese. While there have been some that have been able to slip past thanks to being in an anime or manga, I'm going to leave that up to someone else but suggest you change it.

A little more on her physical description and personality would be nice. I'd definitely do a reread. In the physical, you say she has the typical ten year old appearance even though she's twelve. Don't worry about referring to the picture all the time as people just use it as a reference anyways but don't take it for word.

The math in the stats seems to check out but to be honest it hurts my head so I didn't look all that hard.

Now, the stats... first off you get seven seven jutsu as a genin. And this "Stage 2: Power 4, Willpower 4 (Guessed, not sure how the system works) Stages above are not applicable." confuses me. You don't have to buy your stages in nin and genjutsu, only taijutsu (which remember, with your character having physical as a tert, would count for 2 jutsu points)

You also only have to buy SOME weapons individually, metal ribbons are kunai not those weapons. Only those marked with an asterisk (*) in the basic weapon sheet. You also don't have to specify how long the metal ribbons are.

Not really going to look in to the bio too hard right now but I skimmed and it seemed okay from what I saw.

To answer the thing in parenthesis... genin get teams but they don't really have to be set or anything. You can go on different missions with different people but you'll probably want a group to RP with. I've got someone that my Chuunin tutors "privately" which might also be an option but I'm not really sure of what you meant. Anything else feel free to shoot me a PM

A few things for now:
- You mention Christmas in your biography, but I'd rather you leave that out because it's not certain there is a Christmas in the RP setting.
- While some Genin characters do get through without mentioning too much about their graduation, I expect a bit more information about her time in the Academy.
- Could you not centre-justify everything? Especially the biography.
- You also get 2 GMAP as a starting Leaf character, so use them while you have them.
